U.S. Rep. Foster: Response To Syria 'Essential'
"I think that Congress is going to, in the end, come to the conclusion that where the president is going here is about the right scope of response."
Congressman Bill Foster of Naperville was at the briefing on Syria.
"It's essential that there be some response, ideally by the international community."
Foster tells WBBM he still has questions.
"I think there is serious sentiment in a lot of Congress, including myself, that we shouldn't have an open-ended commitment here. That there should be limits in the time frame and the scope of military action."
Foster says the president has not rushed to act. He says Congress should be just as prudent.
