U.S. Marshals Still Undecided On Of Fate Jesse Jackson Jr. Items After Canceled Auction
(CBS) -- The U.S. Marshals Service says it's still trying to decide what to do with a dozen items once owned by former Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. - including some apparently fake memorabilia.

The plan had been to auction off those items, fur coats, capes and memorabilia.
But then came word from the federal marshals service that a guitar that was supposedly signed by Michael Jackson and Eddie Van Halen might not have been signed by them after all.
So the auction was cancelled a month ago.
That auction would've helped pay down the three-quarters of a million dollars Jesse Jackson Jr. admitted he took from his campaign funds.
Jackson is expected to report to federal prison next month to begin his 2-and-a-half-year sentence.
The Marshals Service says it'll wait until next month to decide what to auction off - if anything - and any fakes, it may just destroy.
