U Of C Nurses Win $250,000 In Lottery
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A group of Chicago nurses who work together and play the Lottery together, are now getting a bit richer together.
As WBBM Newsradio's Regine Schlesinger reports, Rosalind Seals says it was last summer when the 12 labor delivery nurses on the night shift at the University of Chicago Medical Center decided to start pooling their money and playing the Lottery each week.

"We just decided one night when we were at work, and we saw some people who won – it was a group of workers – and we were like, 'You know what? We can do that,'" Seals said.
They won $10 or $20 a few times, but among their last batch of tickets was one worth $250,000. Now each gets about $20,000.
The nurses missed a $15 million jackpot by one number, but nurse Melissa Cobb says she's not disappointed.
"I'm happy for what we did win," Cobb said.
The nurses say their unexpected bonuses will make the holidays a little brighter this year.
