CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two men were wounded in an early Sunday drive-by shooting in the South Loop.
The men, both 20, were in a vehicle traveling south in the 1900 block of South Union Avenue when a silver sport-utility vehicle approached about 12:30 a.m. and somebody inside began shooting, police said.
One man was shot in the back and the other was shot in both legs, police said.
The men were taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in "stable" condition, police said.
Harrison Area detectives are investigating, but nobody is in custody early Sunday.
