Two Teens Wounded In South Side Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two teenagers were wounded in a Washington Heights shooting Thursday evening on South Side.
A 13-year-old boy and 14-year-old boy were shot about 5:25 p.m. in the 10800 block of South Eggleston Avenue, said police News Affairs Officer Daniel O'Brien.
The victims were on the street when a male exited an alley and started shooting in the direction of the teens, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro.
Both victims were shot in the abdomen and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, Alfaro said.
No one is in custody.
Area South detectives are investigating.
