(CBS) -- Police in Gary, Indiana are searching for the gunman who shot and killed two teenagers and left them in a car.
CBS 2's Susanna Song reports the bodies of a 15-year-old Hammond boy and a 16-year-old Gary boy were found in a parked car in the 800 block of Burr Street around 8:30 p.m. Friday by a Gary Police officer on patrol. Upon arrival, the officer discovered the driver side door open.

The Lake County coroner identified the two as 15-year-old Mark Skipper and 17-year-old Kasreeyal Hester.
Skipper lived in Hammond and Hester lived on the same block where they were found. Hester's aunt Shante Keith tells CBS 2's Sandra Torres he was out celebrating his birthday with Skipper, his best friend.
"He celebrated with his friends last night but we were going to do something this weekend and now we have to do a candle light vigil," Keith said.
She says he was in alternative school.
"I just went to enroll him in school," Keith said. "He told me 'auntie... I got a New Year's resolution, I'm gonna stop doing what I'm doing and gonna stop doing what I'm doing.' He turned around. He really did.
Skipper's family says he played baseball and football and Morton High School in Hammond. They described Mark as extremely loveable and say he dreamed of playing professional baseball someday.
Skipper's family are raising money to pay for the funeral costs through a gofundme page.
"I send my condolences to his family as well because they're going through the same thing we're going through right now," Keith said.
A vigil was held Saturday night for the victims.
No one has been arrested and anyone with information about the double homicide is asked to call contact Gary Police Detective James Bond of the Lake County/Gary Metro Homicide Unit at 219-755-3852 or the Crime Tip Line at 866-CRIME-GP.
