Two Shot, One Critically Wounded On West Side
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two men were wounded, one critically, in a shooting early Sunday on the West Side.
The shooting happened about 2:30 a.m. in the 700 block of South Western Avenue, according to police News Affairs.
A 30-year-old man shot in the leg was taken in "stable" condition to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, police said.
A 28-year-old man was shot in the back and shoulder, according to police. He was also taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition Sunday morning.
No one was in custody.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
