Two Shot On Front Porch In Bronzeville
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two men were injured -- one critically -- during a Bronzeville shooting early Tuesday.
The two were sitting on the front porch of a home in the 4500 block of South Indiana Avenue when a gunman emerged from a gangway and opened fire about five minutes after midnight, police said.
One of the men, age 49, was shot in the stomach, police said. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condtion, police said.
The other, age 19, was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County with a gunshot wound to the leg, police said.
The gunman fled on foot after the shooting.
No one was in custody as Area Central detectives were investigating.
