Two Shot In West Englewood
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Two young men were shot on the street Wednesday morning in the West Englewood neighborhood.
Police said the victims were shot about 9:40 a.m. at 69th Street and Ashland Avenue.
A boy, who is 15 or 16 years old, was taken in critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, authorities said. A second young man, whose age was unknown, was taken to the University of Chicago's Comer Children's Hospital in fair condition.
Wentworth Area detectives are investigating. No one was in custody as of about 2:20 p.m.
