Two Wounded In Separate Shootings On Kennedy, Dan Ryan
(CBS) -- State Police are investigating two shootings overnight on two Chicago expressways.
On the northbound Kennedy about 1 in the morning, state police say the male driver of a car was shot in the hand, arm - and had a graze wound to his chest.
That happened near Damen, says Illinois State Police Sergeant Ryan Rybczyk (RIB-check).
He says the three passengers in the vehicle were not injured. The driver was taken to the hospital (Illinois Masonic) in stable condition.

Sergeant Rybczyk says a couple of hours later - on the southbound Dan Ryan - state police responded to another shooting.
"The driver - the victim-driver - is completely uncooperative. He had a gunshot wound to his upper right thigh.
"The vehicle he was in wasn't there when we arrived on scene... They think it might possibly be self-inflicted, but we're investigating that, too."
Sergeant Rybczyk says the 24-year-old driver may suffered that gunshot wound at 35th and Woodlawn - and then got in a car with two passengers and drove to 76th Street.
And when they got there an ambulance arrived and took the man - and his passengers drove off.
Rybczyk says the man was taken to a hospital (Christ) in stable condition.
