Two Pulled From Tinley Park Retention Pond
TINLEY PARK (CBS) – Two people were pulled from a retention pond in south suburban Tinley Park Friday evening following a massive rescue response.
Tinley Park authorities got a call around 7:15 p.m. of multiple people in water, Pat Carr, director of Emergency Management and 911 Communications, told reporters at the scene, at Bishop and Webster Court.
He said the two people who were pulled from the water were conscious. They were transported to the hospital, but their conditions weren't known.
Rescuers stayed on the scene, searching the water.
"We're just taking precautions right now," Carr said.
