Two Men Wounded In Separate City Shootings
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two men were wounded in apparently separate shootings late Saturday on the South and West sides.
A 28-year-old man was shot in the ankle about 11:10 p.m. in the 7600 block of South Marquette Avenue and was taken in good condition to Jackson Park Hospital, police said.
The man told police he was walking when he heard gunfire and realized he was shot.
About 11:40 p.m., the 24-year-old man was shot multiple times in the 3400 block of West Chicago Avenue, police said.
The man was initially taken in critical condition to Loretto Hospital and is expected to be transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
Nobody is in custody for either shooting.
