Two Men Wounded In Little Village Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two men were wounded -- one critically -- in a shooting Saturday afternoon in the Southwest Side Little Village neighborhood.
The two men, ages 21 and 26, were sitting in a parked minivan in the 2400 block of West 34th Place about 1:21 p.m. when a someone approached on foot, fired several shots at them, and then fled northbound, police said.
The 26-year-old was shot in head and was taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, while the 21-year-old was shot in the leg and is in "stable" condition at Saint Anthony Hospital, police said.
No one is in custody and Area Central detectives are investigating.
