Two Men Shot On South, West Sides

CHICAGO (STMW) - Two separate Sunday morning shootings that occurred ten minutes apart have wounded men on the South and West Sides.

Someone shot a 37-year-old man multiple times at 8:11 a.m. in the 300 lock of North Laramie Avenue, according to police News Affairs Officer Robert Perez.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, said Perez.

At 8:21 a.m., an 18-year-old man was shot in the thigh in the 2500 block of East 77th Street, said Perez.

The victim was treated on the scene initially and it was not immediately known if he would be hospitalized.

Perez said no arrests have been made in either attack.
