Two Men Shot In Northwest Side Neighborhood
CHICAGO (STMW)-- Two men were shot, one in the back, Friday evening in the West Side Humboldt Park neighborhood.
The shooting happened at 5:22 p.m. in the 5200 block of West North Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said. The victims were two black men, both in their early 30s.
One man was shot in the back and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in "stable" condition, while the other man suffered a gunshot wound to the arm and was taken to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Lawn in an unknown condition, police said.
The circumstances regarding the shooting were not immediately clear. Grand Central Area detectives are investigating.
