Two Men Robbed At Gunpoint In Lakeview
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two men were robbed at gunpoint in the Lakeview neighborhood late Monday.
About 11 p.m., a 20-year-old man was cleaning snow off his vehicle in the 3800 block of North Marshfield Avenue while another 48-year-old man waited inside the vehicle, police said. Two unknown males -- one of whom had a gun -- walked up and took cash, wallets and cell phones from the two men.
The two suspects ran east after the robbery, police said.
One of the men was punched in the mouth during the robbery, but later refused medical attention, police said.
No one was in custody as Area North detectives investigated.
