Two Men Rob NW Side Bank At Gunpoint
(STMW) -- Police are looking for two men who robbed a Montclare bank branch at gunpoint Monday morning on the Northwest Side.
The men entered the TCF Bank branch in the 2300 block of North Harlem Avenue showing handguns and fled with an undisclosed amount of money just after 11 a.m., according to the FBI, which categorized the incident as a "takeover bank robbery."
The robbers are described as two black men between 25 and 30 years old, the FBI said. They were 5-foot-8 to 6-feet and wore baseball caps, dark hooded sweatshirts and pants with surgical masks over their faces.
The FBI is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction. Anyone with information should call (312) 421-6700.
