Two Males Wounded In South Side Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) - Two males were wounded, one critically, in a Tuesday night shooting on the South Side.
The males, whose ages were not immediately available, were shot about 6 p.m. in the 2400 block of West 71st Street, said police News Affairs Officer Darryl Baety, citing preliminary information.
One of the males was shot in the head and was listed in critical condition, while the other was shot in the leg and was in "stable" condition, Baety said. It was not immediately known to what hospital they were taken.
The CTA has rerouted No. 67 buses, which run on 67th, 69th and 71st streets, in the area.
Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
