Two Killed In Roselle Crash
ROSELLE, Ill. (CBS) -- Two men are dead and another injured after a motorcycle and a car collide in Roselle last night.
CBS 2 has learned, the one survivor of this accident is a 13 year-old, the son of one of the men killed in this crash.
That teen was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downer's Grove with minor cuts and bruises and he's expected to be okay.
Police working this investigation say the white Chevy Malibu was pulling out of a retail complex, attempting to make a left turn onto Lake, when the motorcycle hit the driver's side of the car.
The 19 year-old on the motorcycle and the 35 year-old behind the wheel of the Malibu, were both killed.
Roselle Police say witnesses report seeing the motorcyclist weaving in and out of traffic at a high rate of speed just prior to the accident. They now believe speed was a factor in this crash.
Roselle Police tell CBS 2's Courtney Gousman the father and son in the car, just finished dinner at a Mexican restaurant, prior to the crash.
Police say the father was a Roselle resident, and was engaged to be married.
The 19 year-old motorcyclist was from Bloomingdale.
