Two Critically Injured During Loop Hit-And-Run
CHICAGO (WBBM/STMW) - Two women were critically injured when a driver plowed into them while they walked on a Loop street in a Tuesday night hit-and-run.

The hit-and-run involving an SUV happened about 7:15 p.m. in the 100 block of South State Street and left two women in critical condition, police News Affairs Officer Darryl Baety said.
Police said both women were in their 50s and Fire Media Affairs spokesman Joe Roccasalva said they were both taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Unconfirmed dispatch reports indicate the Mitsubishi SUV that hit the women was registered to a driver from Sauk Village. Police are looking for a female driver.
The SUV is believed to have sustained heavy damage and may have been dragging something, reports indicated. The SUV was last seen on Congress heading west and could have gotten onto an expressway.
There were surveillance cameras on the corner that may have captured the accident, according to police.
