Two Hurt, Camper Overturns In Mokena Crash
MOKENA, Ill. (STMW) -- Two men were hospitalized Tuesday night after a camper was overturned during a two-vehicle crash on I-80 in southwest suburban Mokena.
A Mitsubishi traveling westbound on I-80, about three miles west of Illinois Route 45, lost control after the car blew a tire and struck a Dodge pickup truck pulling a camper about 10:26 p.m., Illinois State Police Sgt. R.A. Caves said.
The camper left the roadway and overturned, state police said.
Both male drivers, whose ages were not immediately known, were taken in "stable" condition to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, state police said.
There were no lane closures as a result of the crash, state police said.
