Two Fetuses Found Floating In Jars In Little Village
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two fetuses were discovered in jars that were left outside a Little Village apartment building Wednesday morning.
An employee of a nearby business found the two jars wrapped in a plastic bag that was left outside the building in the 2500 block of South Harding Avenue about 7:25 a.m., police said.
"It looks like an employee from the business was out front when he saw a plastic bag that contained what he thought were human fetuses, said police News Affairs Officer Jose Estrada.
An autopsy was scheduled for Friday to determine if the fetuses were, in fact, human, according to the Medical Examiner's office.
So far, police are not treating the discovery as a criminal matter, Estrada said.
