Two-Car Crash Kills Man In North Lawndale
CHICAGO (CBS) -- One man was killed in a crash Wednesday evening in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side, police said.
The two-vehicle crash happened about 7 p.m. in the 4500 block of West Cermak, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said, citing preliminary information.
The 19-year-old man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he later died, Alfaro said.
The occupants of one of the vehicles ran away from the scene, Alfaro said.
The police Major Accidents Investigation Unit is investigating the crash.
