Two Car Collision Sends Five To Hospitals
COUNTRY CLUB HILLS, Ill. (STMW) -- Four adults and a child were hospitalized following a 2-car wreck in a construction zone in south suburban Country Club Hills Sunday morning.
The two cars collided about 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of 167th Street and Pulaski Road, County Club Hills Fire Lt. Raymond Bernadisius said.
Five ambulances responded to the wreck and paramedics took three patients to Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest and two to St. James Hospital and Health Centers in Olympia Fields, all with injuries that were not life threatening, Bernadisius said. One child was among the injured.
The wreck happened in an area where there is "a lot" of construction work being done, the lieutenant said.
