Six people were on board of the tugboat at the time of the crash.
No injuries were reported, Day said. Three other vessels reportedly helped the Dale White move up against a wall and were aiding in getting water out of the boat.
The tugboat was hauling one empty barge at the time of the crash, according to Day.
Coast Guard officials are in contact with the vessel, but did not need to send any help because the situation appeared to be in hand.
