Truck Hits Cars On I-80/94; 1 Car Flips Over
HAMMOND, Ind. (CBS) -- A double-trailer truck went out of control and hit two cars on the Borman Expressway in Hammond, Ind., early Friday.
As CBS 2's Kris Habermehl reports, one of the cars flipped over.
As of 6:30 a.m., the dual-trailer, double-bottom semi truck remained on the shoulder on westbound I-80/94 near Calumet Avenue.
The truck hit a couple of cars, one of which rolled over, Habermehl reported.
Information about injuries was not immediately available.
As of just before 6:30 a.m., the cars had been removed from the scene and all lanes were open, but traffic on the outbound Borman Expressway remained bumper-to-bumper from Indianapolis Boulevard to Calumet Avenue.
