Truck Flips Over On Ramp To Stevenson
HODGKINS, Ill. (CBS) -- A semi-trailer truck flipped over early Tuesday the busy ramp from the Stevenson Expressway to LaGrange Road.
The accident happened at 2:30 a.m. on the ramp from northbound LaGrange Road to the Stevenson, CBS 2's Kris Habermehl reported. A worker in a Bobcat vehicle was required to enter the overturned trailer and remove its contents.
During the morning rush, the overturned truck remained on the ramp, and the Illinois Department of Transportation set up a blockade at the scene.
Delays on the Stevenson extended from just past Lemont Road to LaGrange Road.
