Truck Accident Ties Up Tri-State Tollway, Stevenson Expy.
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A semi accident is creating problems on the Stevenson Expressway and Tri-State Tollway.
The truck, which was carrying a load of steel, turned over on the ramp from the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) onto the southbound I-55.
Traffic was tied up on both the inbound and outbound Stevenson as crews worked to clear the debris and move the truck out of the southbound lanes.
According to Illinois State Police, there were no injuries, and crews were working on getting the semi to the right shoulder.
Traffic was tied up around the accident scene.
