Trey Burke Named Big Ten Player Of The Year
(CBS) -- Michigan guard Trey Burke has been named the Bih Ten Player of the Year. Burke led the Big Ten in scoring and assists, averaging 20.2 points-per-game and 6.2 assists-per-game in Big Ten play.
Wisconsin Head Coach Bo Ryan picked up the Coach of the Year award. Indiana's Victor Oladipo was named the Defensive Player of the Year, and his teammate Will Sheehey won the Sixth Man of the Year.
Burke, Oladipo, Indiana's Cody Zeller, Ohio State's Deshaun Thomas and Michigan's Tim Hardaway Jr. were named to the first-team All-Big Ten.
