Funnel Cloud Spotted In Calumet City

CHICAGO (STMW/CBS) -- A tornado spotted near south suburban Calumet City has prompted a tornado warning for Cook County and northwest Indiana. CBS 2's Pamela Jones reports.
At 6:29 p.m., local law enforcement reported a tornado near Calumet City that was moving east at 20 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service. Calumet City police said there were sightings of funnel clouds, but there were no reports of a tornado touching the ground. WBBM's Bob Roberts reports on what to do in the midst of a tornado.

The sighting prompted the weather service to issue a tornado warning for southeastern Cook County and northwestern Porter County (Ind.). By 7:15 p.m., the tornado warning moved east to southern Lake, northwestern Jasper, northeastern Newton and southwestern Porter counties in Indiana, the weather service said.
