6 People Injured In Tollway Crash
ELGIN, Ill. (STMW) - Six people were injured Saturday evening in a three-car accident on Interstate 90 near the Route 31 exit in Elgin, according to an Elgin Fire Department spokesman.
All six people were transported to local hospitals, but none of the injuries was considered serious, the spokesman said.
The crash occurred just after 6 p.m. in the eastbound lane about half a mile west of toll plaza, he said. Two lanes of traffic were shut down for a little more than an hour as emergency crews worked at the scene, the spokesman said.
