Saturday Night Live's 39th season got off to a tremendous start this weekend, thanks to host Tina Fey and musical guests Arcade Fire.

One of the more heartwarming -- yet still hilarious -- parts of the night was the "Weekend Update" segment. Hosted by Seth Meyers, Saturday's "Weekend Update" saw the addition of Chicagoan Cecily Strong. Fey, who herself co-hosted "Weekend Update" for several years, decided to give Cecily Strong a few tips.

Strong, who joined Saturday Night Live as a featured player during the 2012-2013 season, has been on "Weekend Update" before. You may remember her as the hilarious "girl you wish you hadn't started a conversation with at a party."

Fey's advice to Strong was... Interesting. "On the first day," Fey said, arm around Strong. "You go up to the biggest guy in the yard and you punch him in the face."

"See this man here," she later said, pointing at Seth Meyers. "This man don't own you. You do you."
