Timothy Jones Convicted Of Murder In Deadly Police Chase
(CBS) -- A jury found Timothy Jones guilty of murder in the death of a woman killed after she was hit by a Chicago Police squad car in pursuit of Jones.
Jones, 22, was also found guilty on charges of residential burglary. The jury found him not guilty of robbery, home invasion and murder based on robbery.

In May 2013, Jacqueline Reynolds, 56, was on the way to a funeral when a Chicago Police vehicle slammed into her car in the 2400 block of East 76th Street.
Police had been in a high-speed pursuit of Jones following a burglary and under the law, prosecutors argued Jones was responsible for Reynolds' death because it occurred during the commission of the crime. The jurors agreed.
The trial was the first time in Cook County that cameras were allowed in the courtroom to record a jury announcing a verdict.
