Time Beginning To Tick For Blackhawks
The Blackhawks have struggled all season long. Despite battling injuries, dealing with a new roster and poor play, the Blackhawks are still in the playoff hunt. But time might not be on their side.
"There's still a lot of confidence in this locker room," Blackhawks defenseman Brian Campbell said. "But, you know, time does tick pretty quick in the NHL here."
With Jonathon Toews returning to the lineup early from his upper-body injury, the Blackhawks might be beginning to feel some urgency to get as many standings points before it's too late.
"We have to keep on trying to get up with those teams in the playoff race and not lose site of that," Campbell said.
