Tillman 'Sad' That NFL Lockout Had To Happen
CHICAGO (WSCR) Over ten weeks into the NFL Lockout and there still appears to be no end in sight. With every passing day, the likelihood that the league will miss regular season games, however unfathomable as that may seem, grows larger and larger.
Will regular season games be canceled? That's really the only question that fans want answered. But for the parties directly involved with the labor negotiations, it's a tough question to answer.
"I don't know, man, I hope not," Charles Tillman said on the Laurence Holmes Show. "It's unfortunate that it had to come to this, you know. I really hope fans, and I think me and the rest of the NFL players want fans to know that we as players, we want to play football. You know, this is not our decision.

"It's unfortunate that it had to come to the courts having to make a decision, you know. And at the same time, I'm sure the owners, they probably feel the same way. It's unfortunate that, you know, we couldn't get a deal done with the mediation. So, you know, I'm sad that it had to happen, but you know, we'll see what happens, you know, here with the courts. We'll see what they rule. Hopefully, the judicial system will, you know, will work out."
