Three Stabbed Outside Strip Mall On North Side
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two teen boys and a woman were injured in a stabbing Saturday night outside a strip mall near the Howard Red Line CTA station on the North Side.
A 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old were both stabbed in the back about 8:10 p.m. in the 7500 block of North Clark Street, according to police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro.
A 23-year-old woman was cut on the arm during the incident, Alfaro said.
Fire Media Affairs initially reported the incident occurred at the Howard CTA Red Line station.
However, Alfaro said the stabbing happened outside a strip mall.
All three stabbing victims were taken in "stable" condition to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Fire Media Affairs said.
It was unclear who may have been the attacker, Alfaro said.
Belmont Area detectives are investigating.
