Three Shot In Woodlawn Drive-By
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Three men were shot near the South Side Woodlawn neighborhood Wednesday afternoon.
The shooting happened at about 2:30 p.m. in the 800 block of East Marquette Road, according to police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala.
The men, ages 23, 26 and 33 were shot in what appears to be a drive-by, Zala said. The 23-year-old was hit in the leg and foot, the 26-year-old was hit in the leg and buttocks, and the 33-year-old was shot in the foot.
They were all taken to University of Chicago Hospital, Zala said.
No one is currently in custody, but the shooting is believed to be gang-related.
This shooting marks the third drive-by in less than 24 hours in the city.
