Three Shot, Critically Wounded On South Side
CHICAGO (STMW) - Three people were critically wounded in a shooting on the South Side Monday afternoon.
The shooting happened about 4:20 p.m. on the 5000 block of South Morgan Street, according to police News Affairs Officer Daniel O'Brien.
Three people -- their ages and genders were not immediately available -- were shot there, O'Brien said.
The Chicago Fire Department took three people from the scene to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County all in serious to critical condition, Fire Media Affairs spokesman Rich Rosado said. He had no information on the ages or genders of the victims.
Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
