Three Men, Teen Boy Wounded In Shootings
CHICAGO (STMW) - Three men and a teenage boy were wounded Saturday night during apparently separate shooting on the South and Southwest sides.
Two men were shot while in the 6400 block of South King Drive about 10:10 p.m. when an unidentified gunman opened fire then fled, police said.
A 24-year-old man was shot in the buttocks and taken in "stable" condition to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County. A 21-year-old man was taken in "stable" condition to Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center with a gunshot wound to the forearm.
Forty minutes later, a 37-year-old man was shot in the leg by an unidentified person who approached on foot, began shooting then ran down the 9200 block of South May Street, police said.
The man was taken in good condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
About 11:45 p.m., occupants in a vehicle shot a 15-year-old boy in the leg as he sat on his front porch in the 2400 block of South Kedvale Avenue, police said.
The boy was taken in good condition to Mount Sinai Hospital.
No one is in custody for the shootings and detectives are investigating.
