Three Hurt In South Shore Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) - Three people were wounded -- one critically -- in a shooting in the South Shore neighborhood on the South Side Wednesday night.
The shooting about 9:50 p.m. in the 7600 block of South Coles wounded three males, though their ages were not yet known, police said.
One suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in critical condition, according to police and fire officials.
Two others were taken to South Shore Hospital in fair-to-serious condition, according to Fire Media Affairs. One of those people suffered a gunshot wound to the leg, while the other was shot in the arm.
Circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately known.
