Thousands Of Cyclists Ride In Annual 'Bike The Drive'
CHICAGO (CBS) --Organizers of Bike the Drive say as many as 21,000 people two-wheeled their way down Lake Shore Drive Sunday, and that would make it their second biggest year.
"Perfect weather. Beautiful scenery. Nice family."
Ellen Corenswet lives in New York City. And she and her husband John Morgan are visiting their daughter Brianna Morgan - and decided to do Bike the Drive - with some help from Divvy Bikes.

"Yeah, I figured it was the best way for them to see the sights. And today was especially beautiful."
WBBM: And how is it comparing to New York City?
"Oh, they're both great," says Corenswet.
"It's flatter," says John. "Easier to ride the bike. Also beautiful lake views. It's harder to get beautiful water views in Manhattan. They exist but it's harder to find."
WBBM: Peeks between buildings.
"Also, it's probably not as crowded. Which is nice. And safer," says Corenswet.
This is the 13th year for Chicago's Bike the Drive - and one of the biggest.
