Head to Navy Pier and enjoy the 2011 Chicago Flower & Garden Show, the Midwest's iconic annual horticulture and landscape extravaganza, with an exciting theme this year, "The Sport of Gardening". Taking place Saturday, March 5th through Sunday, March 13th, the 2011 Chicago Flower & Garden Show offers visitors unique, non-stop learning opportunities at more than 100 workshops and free educational seminars. This year a major attraction will be the 30-plus gardens spotlighting top Midwest landscapers, growers and garden designers.
Also, the Chicago Flower & Garden Show will feature the return of the popular Horticulture Competition. Individuals, garden clubs and businesses passionate about houseplants, window boxes, photography, miniature landscapes, container gardens and all things green are encouraged to enter the Horticulture Competition.
Tickets: Adult tickets are $15 on weekdays and $17 on weekends. Tickets for children ages 4-12 are $5 every day. Monday- Thursday from 4-8pm there is the "After Work Special", with tickets available for $13.

Head to the Beverly Arts Center's for it's closing of the 12th Annual Irish Film Festival. Eleven shorts will be screened on closing night: Joe Drummer; Noreen; Cold Turkey; Guns, Bees and Tadpoles; Separation Agency; Ticket To Ride; Bleeding Love; Getting Air; Blue Rinse; Mister Heaney: A Wee Portrait; and Shoe. Tickets to the closing reception include a post film reception with complimentary appetizers and beverage.

Chicago's hottest celebrities dance to benefit The Chicagoland Area Affiliate of Susan G. Komen For the Cure. Presented by Arthur Murray Dance Studios. This dazzling event boasts six of Chicago's hottest celebrities who show off their newly-learned talent of ballroom dancing in a celebrity dance-off by performing a choreographed routine with an Arthur Murray professional.
