The New House That Jordan Built

The United Center has a Michael Jordan statue in front of it and is considered by some as the house that Jordan built.

However, there is a new house that Jordan actually built, or at least paid to be built.

Jordan has purchased a home in The Bears Club, a golf course community developed by world-famous golfer Jack Nicklaus.

The land that The Bears Club was built on was purchased by Nicklaus and split into two properties. The first being the Bears Club and the second became a Ritz Carlton with residential lots.

The Bears Club and Jordan's new residence are located Jupiter, a town located in in Palm Beach County, Florida.

The distinction between the two is quite clear. According to the caddies at the Ritz, "Ritz homeowners are all millionaires, but the Bears homeowners are billionaires."

Jordan's home will will sit on a 3-acre plot of land that is heavily secluded and the home itself will be 28,000 square feet.

Jordan paid $4.8 million for the land and $7.6 million for the construction ($12.4 million total).
