The Cup Comes To Wrigley
Game 3 of the Cubs-Sox series started off with thunderous applause almost the entire Blackhawk roster marched out from right field at Wrigley and paraded the Stanley Cup around the warning track and back to home plate. Each player got a chance to hoist the Cup during the team's walk-around but it was head coach Joel Quenneville who had the Cup at home plate and lifted it toward the fans.
The Hawks then took the mound for the first pitch and seemed reluctant to elect a hurler. Jonathan Toews was eventually selected from the group but he promptly turned around and presented the ball to team president John McDonough to do the honor.
Finally, both baseball clubs came to the mound and posed for a giant team photo.
During the seventh inning, Jonathan Toews, Patrick Sharp, Brent Seabrook and Duncan Keith will all hit the press box to sing "Take Me Out to the Balgame."
