The Bears' Big Three

The Bears' front seven has been pretty impressive so far this season. Players like Israel Idonije, Matt Toeaina, Anthony Adams and Pisa Tinoisamoa are having great seasons. But there's no denying the fact that Brian Urlacher, Lance Briggs and Julius Peppers are the stars of the defense.

"Most of these guys are role players," Dan Pompei said on the Mully and Hanley Show. "You've got three stars on this defense. You've got Urlacher, Briggs and Peppers. And those three guys are really what it's all about. You take any one of those three guys out and the defense isn't going to be anywhere near as good. But together I think they're a great combination."

While Peppers was a dominant player for Carolina and Briggs has been a great linebacker for the Bears, it's the return of Brian Urlacher that might be making the biggest difference.

"I don't think you can minimize the contributions of Brian Urlacher coming back though, he's a great player."
