Thayer: Bears' D-Line Could Dominate Game
As big as the Chicago Bears-Green Bay Packers game is going to be, it's a game that could be decided by a single aspect.
If the Bears want ta chance to win their first Super Bowl since the 1985 season, they're going to have to slow down the Packers' offense.
"Their best player, their most valuable player is Aaron Rogers," former Bear and current radio analyst, Tom Thayer said. "And after you have two concussions, you try to protect him, whether it's max protection or getting the ball out of his hands quickly."

And that's exactly what the Packers do. They use six and sometimes seven offensive players to protect their quarterback. During the first Bears-Packers matchup this season, it was Bears' defensive line that caused a lot of problems for the Packers' offense.
And it could be a similar story during Sunday's NFC Championship.
"The [Packers'] offensive line does a nice job," Thayer said. "They're a well-coached group, and they're choreographed well, but I think this is an opportunity for the Bears' defensive line, with the assistance of the crowd noise, to come in and dominate this offensive line."
