Texas Woman Rescues Injured Man In Lake Michigan
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A woman visiting from Texas performed CPR on a 60-year-old man she found unresponsive in the waters of Lake Michigan on Sunday in the North Side Rogers Park neighborhood.
The 30-year-old woman and another person saw the man lying unresponsive in the water about 7:50 p.m. in the 1200 block of West Greenleaf Avenue, police News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli said.
They performed CPR until paramedics arrived and took the victim, a West Side man, to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston in critical condition.
