Teenage Boy Seriously Wounded On SW Side

CHICAGO (STMW) - A 16-year-old boy was seriously wounded Tuesday during a shooting on the Southwest Side.

At 6:21 p.m., a 16-year-old boy was in the 4000 block of South Rockwell Street when he heard one shot and felt pain, police said.

The victim was taken in serious condition to Mount Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest.

No one is in custody and Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
