Teen Wounded In Woodlawn Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A teenage boy was wounded during a shooting in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side Sunday night.
He was shot in the leg shortly before 9 p.m. in the 600 block of East 62nd Street, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.
The boy, 14, was fighting with someone who pulled out a gun and then shot him, Greer said.
He was taken in "stable" condition to Comer Children's Hospital, Greer said.
No one is in custody, and Area Central detectives are investigating.
