Teen Shot, Critically Wounded In Senka Park In Gage Park Neighborhood
CHICAGO (CBS) -- An 18-year-old man was shot and wounded Sunday afternoon in the Gage Park neighborhood, just yards from a park full of children.
The shooting happened at 2:30 p.m. in the 5600 block of South St. Louis Avenue. The victim was in Senka Park when someone came up and shot him in the abdomen.
He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.
The scene is just a short distance from a playground where children play.
